NIACE has been commissioned by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) to research BYOD approaches to support learning providers in formal, non-formal and informal learning settings to effectively facilitate learners using their own devices in their learning both inside and outside of the classroom.

The Skills Funding Agency (the Agency) has announced a further round of equality and diversity grants:

A prospectus will be available by the end of September for Skills Funding Agency-funded colleges and training organisations to bid for up to £30,000 to deliver six month projects. The Fund will be managed by the Equality Challenge Unit on behalf of the Agency."
