Two funding opportunities from LSIS for 2011/12

1. Developing the Expert Learner: Active co-production of learning and the impact on mental health and wellbeing

LSIS will provide grants of £2500 to five providers to work with at least ten learners with mental health conditions and ten learners who have not declared mental health conditions.

2. Developing learning and skills opportunities for learners with mental health conditions

LSIS will make available a grant of £3250 to 6 providers from the FE and skills sector to develop and work to an action plan that will help you as a practitioner develop skills and understanding in two areas of programme or curriculum development;

  • Understanding funding and planning e.g. by working with your Finance Director and staff
  • Networking and partnership working, particularly within your own organisation e.g. working with other curriculum teams

Eligibility to apply: You need to be a FE learning and skills provider that is funded through the Skills Funding Agency

The closing date (for both projects) is 5 pm on Tuesday 24th October 2011.
