Mental Health First Aid (MHFA England)

This is the official national website for MHFA England,  it is part of an expanding international movement around the world, currently involving 16 countries. It delivers evidence based training that raises awareness of mental illness and equips people to respond, in a first aid situation, to people experiencing mental distress.

MHFA England was developed and launched in 2006 in England by the Department of Health. 

 

Most recent developments include:

July 2010 - Youth MHFA was launched

April 2011 - the Trauma Stress Reaction (TSR) course was launched nationally.
