Meeting the Challenge of Special Educational Needs/Disabilities (One Day Course)

Great to see interest in the FutureLearn course, so I thought I'd tell you about a one-day face to face course, Meeting the Challenge of Special Educational Needs, that's coming up on 3 March 2016 in London. It is being offered as part of the ETF Excellence in Leadership, Management and Governance (ELMAG) programme.

If you want to radically improve the quality of services and outcomes for young people and adults within SEN/D education provision, then this is the course for you as it will be centred around your special educational needs challenges.

During the day, you will collaborate with other participants on your real-life challenges and you will develop a personalised plan to address your own key challenges and sustain long-term improvement in how you work.

The MHFE network is pleased to recommend this course to you, because the course takes a systems thinking approach and the trainers are all people we have worked with around equalities: Sue Ward (see her EDI 4 case study on our equalitiestoolkit site), Martin Sandbrook (see the systems thinking webinar he delivered for us last year) and Rich Wilson (who we worked with as part of the ETF Leadership Conversation and summit).

For more information/to book or log in and contact Sue Ward directly,  she's here on MHFE
