Because Identities Matters to Employers and Learners

Screenshot of the Because identities matters to employers and learners box set Your second Festival of #Identities box set is now live. As you'll see in the recording of the Festival of Identities discussion recorded on 11 May 2016 at City Lit, employers increasingly recognise the importance of identities and that staff who are able to be present as all of themselves are happier and more productive.
This curated collection includes resources for providers and employers. such as 
  • The BIS Secretary of State's consultation on the barriers that block BME talent in employment - make your response by 22 August 
  • Guidance for young people (and their learning providers) find out what employers want and how they can prepare themselves for work
  • Resources for employers to support them to take on diverse people as apprentices
  • Remploy and DWP new Access to Work trial to help employees with mental health problems get into and keep work.
