Where are the community learning mental health research projects still offering similar courses?

The DfE Adult Education | Mental Health research (2015/17)  tested whether short, non-formal community learning courses help people develop strategies to manage their mild to moderate mental health problems (like stress, worry, anxiety and depression).

62 research sites joined the project in 2015 and 56 were still involved when the delivery stage of the research ended on 31 July 2017. We are pleased to say that after being part of the research some of the community learning providers plan to use the funding they get each year from DfE for community learning to go on offering similar learning opportunities in 2017/18.

We've listed the research sites in A-Z order by local authority.  The best way to find out if there is a provider near you still offering similar learning  opportunities, is to scroll through the Padlet below  click on images and links for more information of what's happening in the local authority area where you live or work. Details are updated regularly.

If you are interested in one of the offers below please contact the relevant learning provider directly. Please do not use the website contact form.
