Great to see interest in the FutureLearn course, so I thought I'd tell you about a one-day face to face course, Meeting the Challenge of Special Educational Needs, that's coming up on 3 March 2016 in London. It is being offered as part of the ETF Excellence in Leadership, Management and Governance (ELMAG) programme.
If you want to radically improve the quality of services and outcomes for young people and adults within SEN/D education provision, then this is the course for you as it will be centred around your special educational needs challenges.

I’d like to tell you about an exciting new blended leadership course that the ETF ELMAG 3 programme is offering between now and late March. It’s called “Breaking the Rules: An affirmative approach to mental health leadership”. I know you have lots of demands on your time, but I also know that if you vist this MHFE website it's becuase you want to make a difference aroudn mental health and wellbeing, i.e. you want to lead change. Well that's what this course is about.

I usually tweet events and resources via @MHFEwhatsnew rather than posting them as news, but the Scottish Recovery Network, See Me, and Voices Of Experience landmark national event on human rights and recovery in June this year really does deserve a special news item. Thanks to Susan for sending details to me in the latest SRN eUpdate.
Rights for Life brought people together around human rights, mental health recovery and non-discrimination. It was designed to be solutions-focused, engaging and positive.
