Sex/gender equality... Addressing the imbalance

Is your programme area, or any of the courses within it, dominated by men or women learners? If so, what are you doing to address the imbalance, and what impact are these actions having? These are the sort of questions you can expect from Ofsted... Examples could include:

* Challenge stereotypes using images and text
* Invite female engineers or male hairdressers to speak to groups
* Do curriculum swaps so learners get a taste of different courses (e.g. female carers swapping with male construction learners)
* Work closely with schools to challenge stereotypes
